Buyer / Production Administrator Position Available

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.30pm

Salary: £24000


  • Purchasing materials and bought out parts from approved suppliers.

  • Responsible for the procurement and expediting of raw materials.

  • Procuring assembly/shop floor consumables.

  • Supporting internal assembly kitting requirements.

  • Supporting Quality issues and Production scheduling.

  • General office duties and housekeeping.


  • Self-starter requiring with minimal management direction.

  • Positive can-do attitude.

  • Process orientated with a strong attention to detail.

  • Relationship builder with good communications skills.

  • Proven price negotiation skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

  • Good organisational Skills.

Key Skills and Experience:


  • Available with an immediate start.

  • Proven history of working within procurement.

  • Strong IT skills in MS products.

  • A background in manufacturing.

Would be Advantageous.

  • Experience of working with an MRP system.

  • Detailed knowledge of creating and maintaining long term supplier relationships.

Understanding of quality systems.

Thanks to an increase in demand for high quality, bespoke aluminum, and stainless components, we are recruiting for a fabricator/welder specialising in TIG welding, to work in our facility in Poole, Dorset.

Experience and knowledge:

  • Experience in thin section TIG welding - specifically with stainless steel and aluminum (lower than 6mm thick plate).

  • Confident to complete a job from start to finish.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Can interpret and understand engineering/ technical drawings.

Working hours: 7am - 3:30pm

Will need to own transport to get to the facility: on-site parking is available for all staff.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract
